Letter from the President

It’s an honor to welcome you to a brand-new Kappa year! I’m thrilled to serve as your Tulsa Area Alumnae President and can’t wait to see what we accomplish together in 2025–26.

Our goal this year is simple: connection. Whether you’re brand new to the Tulsa area or a familiar face at every event, I hope you’ll find something this year that brings you joy, inspiration, and true Kappa friendship. We’re kicking things off on September 10 at T.A. Lorton, and from there, you can expect gatherings that celebrate our traditions and explore new ideas, all leading up to one of my favorite moments: cheering on our graduating seniors as they officially join our alumnae circle.

Of course, Founders Day on October 13 will be a highlight once again. There’s something so special about honoring Kappas who have carried our sisterhood in their hearts for decades and it reminds us all that our bond really does last a lifetime.

As we plan for the months ahead, I invite you to get involved in any way that feels right for you. Becoming an official member by paying your dues is just the beginning — your ideas, energy, and talents are what keep our association thriving. Maybe you have a fresh program idea, want to host a gathering, or are ready to try a leadership role — let’s chat! We grow stronger when everyone’s voice is heard.

Kappa’s mission is to bring women together to learn, grow, and inspire positive change — and I believe our Tulsa alumnae do that beautifully. Here’s to new memories, meaningful connections, and living boldly, together.

I’m so excited for this year with each of you. See you soon!

Loyally,

Melissa Siemens
